Low weight is key in swimrun and our main topic when it comes to product development. KORP™ is designed to keep the lowest weight while keeping the buoyancy and warming effect. You will find the suit much lighter compared to other models, a key factor to achieve maximum comfort and freedom when moving. The weight is 550 g (men’s size M).
MATERIAL COMBINATION YAMAMOTO LIMESTONE NEOPRENE
The front part and panels around the core are made of glide skin neoprene from Yamamoto. The neoprene gives you thermal protection and reduces drag. The combination of premium neoprene with UltraFlex inner liner makes the suit extremely soft and flexible. The remaining parts are made of thinnest double-lined neoprene for maximum flexibility and high durability.
RUNNING+
KORP™ is designed with pro-running properties. The thin and flexible neoprene in the legs gives you the freedom needed when running, equivalent to running in short running tights.
ANTI-LEAK CONSTRUCTION
ARK’s signature anti-leak cut minimizes water to enter and allows you to keep dry. This means we can use thinner neoprene and still keep the same warming properties as if using thicker (and heavier) neoprene.
THE MASTER BUOYANCY BELT
The signature ARK “master buoyancy belt” panel is strategically placed below the lunges and around the core. The construction gives you stability and makes the suit stay in place while swimming. The panel is made of 3 mm neoprene for increased buoyancy.
NECK CUT
Neck and collar part is designed to seal when swimming. The shape is constructed to snug even when moving around a lot in the water.
ARM CUFFS
Arm ends are equipped with a unique cuff construction. The 0.5 mm cuff will close tightly around the upper arm with a smooth and compact fit.
BACK POCKET
The suit features a pocket for extra belongings (for example energy). Placed on the lower back and can easily be reached from both the right and left side. Zipper closing construction.
TAPED SEAMS
Stretch tape is placed on seams to reduce the risk of chafing.
ULTRA-STRETCH LINER
Ultra-stretch liner makes the neoprene extremely flexible.
SEPARATE ARM-SLEEVES
KORP™ is designed with separate arm-sleeves which makes it easy to customize depending on climate without compromising on the fit. The sleeves are made of 1 mm double-lined neoprene.
